Getting Started with HarnessLaunch

HarnessLaunch takes you from a fresh Windows machine to a running DeepSeek Harness in a few minutes, without touching the command line. This guide covers what you need before installing, how to run your first launch, and where to go next.

Before you begin

  • Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit
  • Roughly 500 MB of free disk space
  • An internet connection for the first setup
  • A purchased copy of HarnessLaunch — no account and no activation needed

Your first launch

  1. Buy HarnessLaunch on the Pricing page — $19, one-time. You get the download link by email.
  2. Run HarnessLaunch_Setup_v1.0.exe and follow the on-screen prompts.
  3. Open HarnessLaunch and press Run DeepSeek Harness.
  4. HarnessLaunch starts the local server and opens DeepSeek Harness in your browser once it is ready.
  5. In DeepSeek Harness, open the project folder you want to work in and describe the task.

The first run takes a little longer, because HarnessLaunch prepares the DeepSeek Harness package. Later launches are quicker.
